Modified Upper Bulkhead Panel

The DoS R55. R56, R57, R58, & R59 Turbo/"S" CAI requires cutting a hole in the upper plastic upper bulkhead panel (BMW Part #: 51 71 2 755 866). This panel conceals the Battery and Brake Master Cylinder.
This hole enables the R55. R56, & R57 Turbo/"S" CAI to pull cold air from the empty space behind the bulkhead panel (between the Battery and Brake Master Cylinder) via the cold air vents at the hoodline of 2nd Gen MINIs.
Though the instructions illustrate how to cut a hole in the upper bulkhead panel, using our pre-cut, easy to assemble panel will speed the installation process - saving you time and effort.
